At SMCC, we love kids and families and it shows.
We are committed to make SMCC KIDS the most exciting, relevant children’s ministry in the Salt Lake Valley. We are passionate about teaching kids about Jesus in a creative, high-energy manner that kids LOVE! It is our desire that our program serves as an extension of your home. Our classrooms are staffed with a combination of child-familiar caregivers and a rotating staff of parents whose children regularly use this ministry.

- A secure check-in and check-out procedure so you can enjoy the service without worry. Our computerized check-in system increases classroom security and allows us to reach you in the event your child needs you during the service.
- Screened workers All of our staff and volunteers have gone through a screening process that includes a national background check.
Our Nursery is staffed by caring providers who are there to play with, care for and nurture your young child. By utilizing these rooms, you and those around you can enjoy a worship experience without interruption.

More about PreschoolWe begin our Sunday with anticipating activities that spark curiosity for the upcoming lesson. While using all forms of media to reach every learning style, the kids will hear fun and exciting stories, straight out of the bible! We respond to what we learn about God with different forms of worship and then move into small group atmospheres where we discuss what we learn and do in-class crafts to take home.
