A Word from the Jr. High Youth Pastor...
Hi my name is Phil. I have been the youth pastor here at SMCC for four years now, and still love it! II'm married to my beautiful wife, Melissa. No kids yet. I hail from a pig farm in Manitoba, Canada, and have to say that Utah (4x4ing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, wakeboarding) sure has been a lot of fun!
I just wanted to say something about our youth ministry in the junior high. We have a great team of adults that have come together to create a place where young people are cared for and challenged. They are great people and it has been an honor to serve alongside them. If you have a student in our group, I'd encourage you to take the time to get to know their leader! If you're a youth, jump on board, we'll take you on a hike of a lifetime!
